Description

On November 14, 2007, the Chinese Government and the Government of Moldova signed an agreement, which committed RMB 15 million of grant funding for various purposes (see Project ID#66535). Then, on February 16, 2009, the parties signed an exchange of letters, which allocated RMB 10 million of the grant proceeds for the construction of a school at a rural site. It is not clear whether or how the remaining RMB 5 million was allocated. Nor is it clear if the school construction project was ever implemented.
