Project narrative

On November 14, 2007, the Chinese Government and the Government of Moldova signed an agreement, which committed RMB 15 million of grant funding for various purposes (see Record ID#66535). Then, on February 16, 2009, the parties signed an exchange of letters, which allocated RMB 10 million of the grant proceeds for the construction of a school at a rural site. It is not clear whether or how the remaining RMB 5 million was allocated. Nor is it clear if the school construction project was ever implemented.
