Description

In 2017, the Chinese Embassy and Nahdlatul Ulama began cooperation on the Comprehensive Sanitation Facility project in Indonesia. The first two sanitation facilities were built in Serang, Banten. On May 23, 2018, Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Xiao Quian and Nahdlatul Ulama chairman Said Aqil Siradj launched the second batch of sanitation facilities project in West Java. Five more clean drinking facilities were built in Nan'anyou County, Kalahuang County, Cirebon City, West Java Province as part of the second batch, which will facilitate the daily life of thousands of villagers nearby. ("驻印尼使馆与印尼伊斯兰教士联合会联合举办共同开斋系列活动") On Dec 16, 2018, the facilities were put into use. ("肖千大使走访井里汶根贝经学院并出席便民综合卫生设施启用仪式") The project has been completed.
