Project narrative

In 2007, the Chinese Government provided financial assistance to the first phase of the Research and Development of Natural Medicinal Plants Project in Indonesia. The project involves collecting Indonesian medicinal plant resources and training Indonesian science and technology personnel. On December 3, 2009, the signing of the memorandum of understanding for the second phase of the project marked the completion of the first phase. The exact start date and grant amount are unclear. According to the Baidu page for Fu Chengxin, a plant geneticist and professor at Zhejiang University's School of Life Sciences, he was involved with the project which took place on March 31, 2007. It is linked to Record ID#37904, the grant from Chinese government for the second phase of the project.
