Description
On February 8, 2018, Senegal and China signed the exchange of letters for the continuation of the support of the technical mission at the National Children’s Hospital Center in Diamniadio (Centre national hospitalier d’enfants de Diamniadio) ("继续为迪亚姆尼亚久儿童医院开展技术服务的换文"). The agreement was signed between the Chinese Ambassador to Senegal, Zhang Xun and Amadou Ba, the Minister of Economy, Finance and Planning of Senegal. The agreement stipulates that China will provide Senegal with technical assistance through a team of six members who will be responsible for training Senegalese technicians on how to use and maintain the facilities and equipment of the Diamniadio Children's Center. In October 25, 2017, Senegal and China signed the implementing agreement for the expansion of the National Children’s Hospital Center in Diamniadio and provide the hospital with necessary medical facilities. On November 15, 2018, the construction officially began and was certified as completed on December 19, 2019 (captured in #58274).
