Project narrative

In 2007, with the support of the Chinese Embassy in Bulgaria, Ruse Middle School construction on a Chinese language Classroom. A listening equipment room, a traditional classroom, and a student study room make up the new Chinese Language Classroom, which is valued at RMB 500,000 RMB. On January 21, 2010, the Chinese Ambassador to Bulgaria, Zhang Wanxe, and the Head of the Education Department, Zeng Xianhong, visited Ruse, Bulgaria, for the ribbon-cutting ceremony and books donation ceremony for the Chinese language classroom of Ruse Middle School. Hanban sponsored the donations. The 1400 books that were donated were valued at RMB 100,000.
