Description

On March 2, 2017, the Armenian Minister of Culture, Armen Amiryan, and the Chinese Ambassador, Tian Erlong, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for China to donate four mobile cinemas to the National Film Center of Armenia as a part of a nationwide project known as "Cultural Stop." The film sector has been struggling and a number of new films have been made only recently amid a surge in the popularity of modern films in Armenia. The mobile theaters were set to arrive in April of 2017, according to media source Shamshyan.
