On August 27, 2006, the Chinese Government provided a grant worth EUR 1.1 million for the provision of scientific and instructional tools to the University of Belgrade, pursuant to an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA) that was previously signed by the Chinese Government and the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
