Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

In 2014, Tonga suffered a drought, and the water supply facilities of Nautuka Village broke down, which affected the domestic water supply of more than 1,000 residents and the normal teaching order of the school. After visiting the site to learn about the disaster, China's ambassador to Tonga Huang Huaguang decided to support Nautuka by donating a new water pump to the village, which cost 12,000 pa'anga. The water pump was operational by February 27, 2015.
