Project narrative

There were heavy rains and mudslide which hit Macedonian northwestern region's Tetovo in the early August 2015. The disaster has left at least five people dead, besides causing material damage. Chinese company Sinohydro, which in charge of constructing Kicevo-Ohrid motorway in Macedonia, sent five technicians and equipments immediately after receiving Tetovo local authority's requests for rescue and cleaning the mudslide, which was highly praised by the mayor of Tetovo, according to the ambassador. See #52761 where China donates 230,000 euro worth of rescue equipment to Macedonia for the same disaster.
