Project narrative

On June 1, 2015, the first Confucius Classroom in Istanbul, Turkey was inaugurated in the auditorium of Okan Private School. Consul General Gu Jingqi expressed on the ceremony that, he paid special attention to local activities of Chinese language teaching and promotion. Confucius Classroom in Okan Private School provides a good platform for Turkey children and teenagers to know about China, lays the foundation for cultivating more envoys for cultural exchanges, and firmly supports close connection and communication between China and Turkey. The specific amount of the grant is currently unknown.
