Project narrative

On May 10, 2015, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko announced the establishment of the Chinese cultural center in Belarus in a bilateral agreement. Then, on December 21, 2016, an opening ceremony was held for the Chinese Cultural Center in Belarus' capital of Minsk. The center seeks to deepen exchanges and cultural exchanges between the two countries. There are plans for Belarus to also establish a Belarusian cultural center in Beijing .
