Project narrative

On November 20, 2015, Türk Telekomünikasyon A.Ş. (“Türk Telekom”) — a private telecommunications company — and a group of 13 lenders signed a EUR 775.3 million (USD 830 million) syndicated loan package for general corporate purposes. It was divided into two facilities, one worth EUR 420 million and the second worth EUR 355.3 million. Both loans have a 5-year maturity and an interest rate equal to EURIBOR (0.007%) plus a 1.8% margin. The syndicate included Bank of China (BOC), Bank of America Merrill Lynch, BNP Paribas Fortis, Citibank, HSBC, ING, Intesa Sanpaolo, JPMorgan, Mediobanca, Mizuho, Société Générale, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi, and Deutsche Bank. Bank of China (BOC) contributed EUR 32.31 million to the EUR 420 million loan facility (captured via Record ID#67359). Bank of China (BOC) contributed EUR 27.33 million to the EUR 355.3 million loan facility (captured via Record ID#67360).
