On June 17, 2010, the All-China Women's Federation (ACWF) donated computers and other office equipment with a value of 100,000 U.S. dollars to the National Council for Women of Egypt (NCW). The Chinese ambassador to Egypt, Wu Chunhua, donated the equipment on behalf of the ACWF, with Farkhounda Hassan, secretary general of NCW, representing the NCW.
