Project narrative

On December 28, 2009, the Council of Ministers of the Government of Angola approved a loan agreement with Bank of China (BOC) for an E-Government Network Project. The face value and borrowing terms of this loan are unknown. The project involved the creation of an e-government network for city and municipal governments in Angola. It also involved the establishment of a fiber optic network in the city of Luanda. Huawei was the contractor responsible for implementation. This project reportedly reached completion, but its precise project implementation start and end dates are not available.
