On 13th, December 2019, the Chinese government agreed to provide the Federated States of Micronesia 10 million USD for the renovation of the Pohnpei State Government Complex. The agreement was reached during the visit of President Xi to Micronesia. The Chinese Name for Project is "波纳佩州政府大楼修缮"
