Hanban provides a grant for the establishment of a Confucius Classroom at Tbilisi Open University

On October 10, 2016, Tbilisi Open University (also known as Tbilisi Open Teaching University) signed an agreement with the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) to establish a Confucius Classroom at Tbilisi Open University. On December 10, 2016, Tbilisi Open University signed an executive agreement with Lanzhou University, their partner university, to establish the Confucius Classroom. The unveiling ceremony of the Confucius Classroom at Tbilisi Open University in Georgia was held on November 16, 2017. Covering an area of 1,700 square meters on University Road in Tbilisi, the Confucius Classroom included 2 Chinese classrooms, 1 library room, 1 culture experience room, 1 public lecture hall, 1 pronunciation room, 1 conference room, and offices for teachers.
