In June 2011, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce invited five officials from the Angolan Ministry of Commerce to participate in the Seminar on Trade Facilitation for Portuguese-speaking Countries, to be held in Beijing, capital of China, from July 28 to August 17 2011. The Chinese Ministry of Commerce covered expenses including international travel between Angola and China, accommodation, and food in China. The exact cost of these expenses is unclear.
