Project narrative

On May 13, 2020, the Chinese Embassy provided anti-epidemic supplies to the Benin Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The supplies included disinfectant alcohol, masks, and hand sanitizer. This donation was made to support Benin’s COVID-19 response efforts. The monetary value of this donation is unknown. A handover ceremony was held for this donation. Ambassador Peng Jingtao and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Benin jointly attended the ceremony. The Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Benin, Qiao Pei, the Director of the General Office, Kang Lan, the Director-General of the Asia-Pacific University, Wen Xinon, the Political Counselor of the Embassy, Yan Yan, and other officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also attended.
