Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On March 31, 2020, the Ningxia Health and Welfare Commission hosted a remote video chat to teach anti-epidemic expertise to Benin Ministry of Health officials. The Ningxia New Coronary Pneumonia Diagnosis and Treatment Expert Group organized the call, and the Chinese Embassy in Benin as well as a Huawei representative office based in Benin reportedly oversaw technical assistance and helped to set up the logistics of the video call. The experts discussed involved standard protocol for epidemic control and prevention, as well as protection of medical workers, and patient treatment. It was stated that China will continue to keep open information with Benin to help prevent further outbreaks.
