Project narrative

In October 2016, a grant to reconstruct China-Sri Lanka Friendship Primary School in Yatagampitiya was provided by the Chinese government through the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka. On July 5, 2018, a ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the reconstruction. China Machinery Engineering Co., Ltd undertook the reconstruction project and also donated educational supplies such as computers and school equipment (captured in #71768). The school is also known as the Faxian Shicun School.
