Description
In 2018, the Government of Mongolia announced that it planned to borrow a USD 50 million concessional loan from China Eximbank for a Health Services Improvement Project. The planned project implementation period was from 2018 to 2020. The aim of the project was to provide rehabilitation equipment to the Family Soum Central Health Laboratory, increase human resource capacity, and increase the range and quality of primary health care services. This project appeared in the Mongolian Government’s 2018 budget. However, it does not appear that a loan agreement with China Eximbank was ever finalized.
