Project narrative

On September 23rd, 2018, the Chinese aid cotton project team completed trainings on cotton agriculture at the Benin Cotton Research Center. The 54 participants came from 12 different villages in the Borgou Department, Benin. The Chinese agricultural experts taught field management theory and completed on-site trainings. They covered chemical adjustments, pest control, seeding, and other components of high-yield agriculture. China Hi-Tech Group (中国恒天集团)'s subsidiary CTEXIC (China Textile Industry Foreign Economy Technology Cooperation Company, or 中纺对外集团) funded this project.
