Project narrative

On June 23, 2006, the Government of China committed a grant of $4,987,531.17 to the Government of Uganda through an Economic and Technical Cooperation Agreement (ETCA). The purpose of this grant was to introduce a Motor Vehicle Inspection Service that will be implemented by Uganda's Ministry of Works and Transport. The actual amount disbursed as of November 30, 2007 is $5,354,035.60.
