Project narrative

In 2012, CDB provided a $13 million loan to King Deer Cashmere Co Ltd (鹿王羊绒马达加斯加有限公司) for the construction of cashmere production workshops, warehouses and other supporting facilities in Madagascar. Upon completion, it was expected that King Deer Cashmere Co Ltd would be capable of producing 1.3 million cashmere sweaters each year. The implementation status of this project is unknown.
