Description

On March 8, 2006, it was reported that the government of People's Republic of China had decided to provide 16 complete postgraduate scholarships and 20 partial postgraduate scholarships to students in Colombia to study in China for 2006-2007. The students are able to choose from 300 different specialties. The Colombian Institute of Educational Credit and Technical Studies Abroad is in charge of announcing the scholarship winners which were to be decided on April 15, 2006. No other scholarships could be found on the Icetex website or any other news source, therefore it is unclear if these scholarships were ever taken.
