Narrative

Full Description

Project narrative

On May 10, 2017, a Confucius Classroom established at Rusinga School in Nairobi, Kenya, was officially inaugurated. The first of its kind in Kenya, the Classroom was established through a contract with the Confucius Institute of Kenyatta University. According to Hanban, teachers volunteers from Hanban will begin to teach at the Rusinga School in August 2017. Rusinga School is an international school that consists of kindergarten, primary school, and middle school students, and the projects reflect Hanban's intention to shift attention from higher education institutes to middle and primary schools.
