Description

In 2002, Vice Trade Minister Madame Ma Xiuhong extended a grant of TT $1.5 million to Trinidad and Tobago, which was used in the continued computerization of primary schools. Specifically, it was used to purchase 100 new computers to be distributed to 10 government public elementary schools. The project proposal was approved by the Chinese Government and the computers were officially handed over on November 02, 2004 at the El Socorro Central Government Primary School. This project is linked with several other computerization projects that occurred within the same timeframe.
