Project narrative

According to a report from the Chinese Embassy in Bolivia, on July 21, 2019, the donation ceremony for fitness equipment granted to the Shinahota stadium and the Puerto Villarroel Coliseum by the Chinese embassy took place. The donation included weight machines and other fitness equipment. The equipment is intended to both promote the physical and mental health of the residents and improve Cochabamba's sports programs and training. Puerto Villarroel and Shinahota are both towns located in the Cochabamba Department. This donation was given following another donation of sports equipment to a high school in Cochabamba in April, 2018 (Record ID#69374). Many sources spoke of this donation as being the second donation of fitness supplies following one from 2018, but it is unclear whether or not it refers to that donation. Sources refer to the donations as an initiative, but it was unclear if there was any formal linkage between them, or if that was the exact donation they were referring to.
