Project narrative

At the end of 2017, the Samoa Voyaging Society was invited to attend a Waka Festival in New Zealand the following year. On November 14, 2017, the Chinese Embassy gave the society $40,000 to assist with preparation for the trip. The voyaging society will be in New Zealand from January to March.
