Full Description

Project narrative

On September 4, 2019, the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas delivered emergency hurricane relief supplies to the Bahamas National Emergency Management Agency. The supplies included drinking water, food, sanitary supplies, and tools, and were delivered by Ambassador Huang on behalf of the Embassy. The total value of these supplies was 20,000 USD. This physical aid was the first of three efforts by China to aid against the effects of Hurricane Dorian (Record ID#69998 and #69999). Hurricane Dorian was a category 5 hurricane that hit the Bahamas at the beginning of September.
