Project narrative

On August 21, 2019, Chinese ambassador Song Yumin formally presented a gift of 200 motorcycles to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) at the Policy Academy in St. James, Port of Spain. The donation was originally announced on May 14, 2019. The motorcycles are equipped with GPS and camera technology, and the Prime Minister hopes that they will reduce the response time of the TTPS and give citizens a greater sense of security.
