Description

On April 8, 2019, Ambassador Liu Hongyang met with Deputy Defense Minister Amos Melosi to exchange views on strengthening military relations between the two countries and to donate office supplies to the Ministry of Defense. China will continue to strengthen military relations through assistance, training, and cooperation to achieve new results. Melosi spoke highly of China's long-standing support for Malawi's national defense construction and thanked the Embassy for donating office supplies to the Ministry of Defense, and pledged to continue to promote military cooperation between the two countries. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
