On 7 August 2016, Vice Premier Liu Yandong visited the University of the Caribbean (Universidad Del Caribe), a Public University in Cancun, Mexico, and unveiled the Confucius Classroom which will operate under the Confucius Institute at Yucatan Autonomous University.
