Project narrative

On 7 August 2016, Vice Premier Liu Yandong visited the University of the Caribbean (Universidad Del Caribe), a Public University in Cancun, Mexico, and unveiled the Confucius Classroom which will operate under the Confucius Institute at Yucatan Autonomous University. It is unclear when Chinese Government officials committed to opening the Confucius Classroom at the University of the Caribbean.
