On 5 July 2016, the Embassy in Mexico hosted a Foreign Aid Training Program. The purpose of the training program is to strengthen connections with the Mexican government, scientific research institutions, private sector businesses, and media organizations. Around 40 people participated in the training program. Participants are sent to China to study
