Project narrative

From 4 September 2014 to 30 September 2014, at the invitation of the Chinese Cultural Center of Mexico, the Yunnan Province Martial Arts Coaching Group visited Mexico and held martial arts training classes in three cities including Mexico City, Merida, and Istabandrasal. The martial arts training courses organized by the Chinese Cultural Center in Mexico in cooperation with the Yucatan State Sports Bureau and the Confucius Institute at Yucatán Autonomous University. During there stay in Mexico, the coaching team also participated in the "Sixth Mexico City Autumn Chinese Cultural Festival" organized by the Mexican Chinese Cultural Center, the Mexico City Benito Juárez District Government and the Mexico City Confucius Institute, leading the local people to practice Tai Chi and Shaolin Boxing.
