Project narrative

On September 9th, 2005, the Chinese Embassy in Benin held a handover ceremony for a large anti-malarial and basic necessities equipment donation to Togolese refugees in Benin. This included "five hundred and fifty (550) impregnated mosquito nets, eight hundred (800) t-shirts, one hundred ninety (190) terry blankets, four hundred and fifty (450) bags of powdered milk (180 kg), twenty (20) boxes of hygienic items for women and nine hundred and sixty (960) boxes of anti-malaria medicine,". This donation stemmed from an appeal by Minister Rogatien Biaou on May 12th, 2005.
