On July 23, 2018, during the Chinese President and First Lady's visit to Rwanda, First Lady Peng Liyuan donated school supplies to FAWE (Forum for African Women Educationalists) Girls' School, which is located in the Gazabo District in the North of Kigali. The monetary value of the donation is unknown.
