Project narrative

On January 15, 2007, the China Geological Survey (CGS) signed a geology and mining cooperation agreement with the Guyana Geology and Mines Commission (GGMC). In the agreement, the CGS committed to sending two geological experts to conduct a three-year regional geochemical survey in Guyana. This was the first ever instance of the Chinese Government sending geological experts to Guyana. Implementation details are unknown.
