Project narrative

On September 3, 2009 in Bishkek, the Chinese Government donated 183 buses worth RMB 50 million to the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic. President of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev attended the handover ceremony. The buses were produced by Yangzhou Yaxing Motor Coach Co., Ltd. This project is linked to another donation of buses by the Chinese Government in 2010 (see linked Record ID#70960).
