Project narrative

On July 16, 2019, an announcement was made by the Suriname Ministry of Health that China was organizing a training session for medical professionals from Suriname. From August 7 to 27, 2019, 35 health professionals from Suriname attended the training in Hunan, China. The group consisted of 12 nurses, 14 general practitioners, three midwives, a pediatrician, and other health professionals. Topics covered in the training included hospital infection, medical techniques, and improving the quality of nursing and emergency care.
