Description

On November 30, 2015, China and the Antigua and Barbuda Ministry of Trade, Commerce & Industry, Sports, Culture & National Festivals commenced a three month long garment manufacturing workshop. China provided the equipment and expert trainers. Experts taught sewing, cutting, and clothing design. Over 300 people signed up and over 180 attended the program, which accepted all skill levels and included junior, middle, and advanced classes. The workshop was intended to provide skills for future employment. It was held at the Simon Bolivar Center and concluded on February 29, 2016.
