Project narrative

On February 26, 2016, the Chinese Government's China Commercial Development Office in Haiti donated teaching materials to the Sisters of the Sacred Heart School (French: Sœurs du Sacré Cœur). The donated teaching materials included microscopes, projectors, balances, and wall charts. The Sisters of the Sacred Heart School, located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, was founded in 1905 to provide educational opportunities to girls from kindergarten to high school. It has nearly 1,500 students. The monetary value of this donation is unknown.
