Project narrative

In April 2001, Cuba and China signed the "Agreement on Educational Exchange between the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the Ministries of Education and Higher Education of the Republic of Cuba". According to this agreement, colloquially referred to as the "Sino-Cuban Education Exchange Project," Cuba can send 150 students to China each year on a full scholarship On October 24, 2019, China and Cuba renewed the education exchange agreement until 2022
