Project narrative

On March 31, 2020, the Nuclear Industry Company Nanjing Construction Group Co. Ltd. granted approximately 50 cots to the Oruro Departmental Health Service (Servicio Departamental de Salud (SEDES) de Oruro). They were previously used by workers for the Chinese company while constructing the Caracollo-Confital dual track highway, which was recently finished. The Bolivian Highway Administration (ABC) helped facilitate the donation. The cots are intended to help care for COVID-19 (coronavirus) patients and will be distributed throughout the Oruro Department.
