Project narrative

In 2018, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Wushu Association, the Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh organized advanced Wushu training, provided by Chinese coaches, for 40 male and female Bangladeshi athletes. The athletes had previously won gold in local and foreign competitions. The purpose of this training was to help the athletes prepare for the 2019 South Asian Games in Kathmandu, Nepal in March 2019. The program included instruction from Chinese coaches, as well as advanced high-altitude training. The program, which was hosted at the Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium Dhaka, Bangladesh, was set to last for two months. It began on July 25, 2018.
