Project narrative

On July 6, 2018, the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka donated medical equipment, office equipment, and other materials to the Tangalle Central Hospital in Hambantota, Southern Province, Sri Lanka. Chinese Ambassador Cheng Xueyuan attended the donation ceremony and inaugurated the newly-established cardiology unit of the hospital. The donation will alleviate the shortage of medical resources in the hospital and will improve the medical conditions of the hospital.
