On May 11, 2018, during an "Open Day" event at the Chinese Embassy in Tajikistan, Chinese Ambassador Yue Bin awarded "Ambassador Scholarships" to 25 outstanding students selected from more than 4,000 Tajik students who studied Chinese The value of the scholarships is not known.
