On October 1, 2018, during the celebration for the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Confucius Institute at Tajikistan National University, Chinese Ambassador to Tajikistan, Yue Bin, cut the ribbon for a wireless network system and speech classroom built with Chinese assistance, according to the Chinese embassy.
