The Chinese Embassy to Tajikistan donated a Women's Sewing Training Center in the Dzhami District. The opening ceremony was held on November 22, 2017. The center was intended to improve the vocational skills of local women and promote women's employment, according to the embassy. The value of the donated sewing center is unknown.
