In 2011, China Harbour Engineering Company donated $300,000 Jamaican dollars donation to the Christiana High School daCosta Cup football team for their purchase of gear and other items needed to compete. The school was located adjacent to their Christiana Development Road JDIP project, so CHEC granted their request as part of their corporate social responsibility policy.
